SMS Compliance
This public page documents Third Rail's A2P 10DLC SMS marketing program for carrier and compliance review. Third Rail is operated by Touch the Third Rail, LLC, a direct-to-consumer apparel and streetwear brand at thirdrail.co.
The SMS program is used for marketing messages from Third Rail only. SMS consent is collected directly from subscribers and is not a condition of purchase.
01 / Messaging Use Case
Subscribers may receive Third Rail marketing messages about:
- new product drop announcements
- collection launch notifications
- restock alerts
- promotional offers
- VIP early-access invitations
- abandoned cart reminders
02 / Opt-In Workflow
End users opt in by entering their mobile phone number and checking an unchecked consent box before submitting a website form or checkout form. The consent checkbox is separate from general website terms and is not preselected.
The consent language shown at opt-in is:
“I agree to receive recurring automated promotional text messages from Third Rail at the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Terms: https://thirdrail.co/terms-and-conditions. Privacy Policy: https://thirdrail.co/privacy-policy.”
- Website notify form: Visitors enter their email address and mobile phone number on thirdrail.co, then check an unchecked SMS consent box before selecting Notify Me.
- Checkout consent: Customers who provide a mobile phone number during checkout may separately check an unchecked SMS consent box before submitting their order. SMS consent is not required to buy from Third Rail.
- Promotional pop-up or signup form: Website visitors may enter their mobile phone number in a promotional signup form and check an unchecked SMS consent box before submitting the form.
